electronica CEO Round Table: Semiconductor solutions for smart grids of the future

The CEOs of leading semiconductor manufacturers will discuss “Semiconductor Solutions for the Smart Grid Challenge“ as part of the CEO Round Table at electronica 2012. The CEO Round Table traditionally takes place on the first day of the fair, November 13, at 11:00 (Messe München, Hall A3, electronica Forum).

Modernizing the network infrastructure is essential to ensure network stability and, with it, the supply of energy in the future. What are needed are intelligent networks that can deal with growing demand for measuring, regulation and automation. However, what do these smart grids look like compared to existing solutions? What components will play an important role in the future? And are there ways to make efficient use of energy in the future, but still cut costs?
