Combining the XC6108 with the XC6109 voltage supervisor in one small SOT-25 package, the XCM410 Series is the newest multi-chip module from Torex Semiconductor and features an ultra-low power consumption of only 1.7µA. The supervisor IC is ideal for those applications that need to monitor more than one voltage rail with a high degree of accuracy, such as microprocessor re-set circuits, memory battery back-up switch circuits and power failure detection circuits.
The XCM410 operates from a supply voltage within a range of 1.0V to 6.0V and is a semi-custom product with two voltage sense pins, VSEN and VIN. Two different detect voltages can be selected internally, in 0.1V increments, from 0.8V~5.0V (Channel 1) and 1.1V~5.0V (Channel 2).

Torex Semiconductor’s XCM410 ICs feature an N-channel open drain output configuration. Since the sense pin, VSEN, is separated from the power supply, it maintains the sensing status (low level output) even when the monitored voltage drops to 0V. Moreover, by connecting dividing resistors to the VSEN pin, the device can detect a higher voltage than its operation voltage.
