Advanced Power Components plc (‘APC’) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Ceramic & Microwave Products (‘CMP’), part of Dover Electronic Technologies, to act as distributor and representative for five electronic component and system manufacturers within CMP.
Through its APC-Novacom unit, APC has been responsible for the sale of components manufactured by Dielectric Labs Inc. and Voltronics Corporation, which are part of CMP, for the last ten years. This addition of five other manufacturers offers APC-Novacom the opportunity of further significant growth within the RF and Microwave sector.

Under the terms of the agreement, APC will establish exclusive relationships with Dow-Key Microwave, K & L Microwave and Pole / Zero Corporation. The agreements with Novacap and Syfer, whose product ranges extend outside RF and microwave, are non-exclusive. APC’s exclusive relationships with Dielectric Laboratories and Voltronics Corporation will continue.

Mark Robinson, CEO of APC, said:

“We are delighted that we are now being appointed across more of the CMP businesses and we feel that this is testament to the success we have enjoyed in growing Dielectric Labs Inc.’s business in particular over the last three years. Increasing our involvement with CMP will further enable us to expand the range of products we bring to market under the APC-Novacom brand.”

Steve Butcher, VP of Sales for CMP, said:

“We have been very impressed by the technical capabilities demonstrated by APC-Novacom which have led to significant growth in the products they have been selling for CMP to date. We are confident that both organisations will benefit significantly by extending this coverage to include more of the CMP companies.”

CMP products are available in the UK through APC Novacom. For further information, see www.apc-novacom.co.uk or e-mail sales@apc-novacom.co.uk.
