Binder UK appoints David McKenzie as key account manager

Binder UK has appointed David McKenzie as key account manager. His primary responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities with OEMs in market areas such as medical devices, security and lighting as well as Binder core markets such as sensors and automation. In addition, David’s role will include supporting the network of key specialist distribution channels.

David is well known and highly regarded within the UK connector industry and has vast experience in the automation market having enjoyed success during his career with Murr Electronik and more recently with Northern Connectors.

David Phillips, managing director of Binder UK said of the appointment: “David’s experience, market knowledge and technical expertise, particularly in the field of automation, make him the ideal addition to our existing strong team and fits with our strategy of establishing local support for the UK market.”

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Binder UK is the newly formed subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH, the highly successful manufacturer of circular and other connector products. The company has a strong presence and a high reputation in the instrumentation, sensor, automation, medical devices and industrial equipment markets.
