Now featuring support for 9170/9180 series power supplies with LAN interface cards, B&K Precision has relaunched its iOS application, ‘pwrApp’, for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

By combining the built-in WLAN capabilities of B&K's XLN-GL and 9170/9180 power supplies with the free pwrApp for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, users can fully monitor and control one or more XLN-GL or 9170/9180 power sources via their local WiFi network. Custom designed to work with network enabled XLN and 9170/9180 series power supplies, pwrApp simplifies your ATE or benchtop work environment, while offering greater control, ease of use, and observational awareness.

The updated version of the Apple iOS application features improved stability, an updated GUI with interactive power supply control, export of monitored data via AirPrint or email in a CSV file, and multi-channel control of dual channel models, 9173 and 9174. pwrApp retains all previously available features, such as multi-language support (English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese), in-app demo mode, device monitor with audible trigger alarms, and device program functions.

Available for free download to all users, pwrApp is compatible with devices running iOS 6 and later.
