Arrow specialists complete Microsoft training
Following the recent signing of Arrow UK’s distribution agreement with Microsoft, twenty four of the company’s engineers and technical specialists in the UK have received intensive training on the sofware company’s operating systems and development tools. The training is designed to equip Arrow’s specialists with the skills they need to support customers in building embedded applications based around Microsoft Windows Embedded software including Windows Embedded CE 6.0 and Windows XP Embedded. This includes providing support for toolkits such as Platform Builder for Windows CE and Target Designer for Windows XP Embedded.
ChriMicrosoft’s Doug Follett, the EMEA Channel Manager for OEM Embedded Sales, adds: “We now plan for the Arrow teams to embark on the Microsoft ‘exam belt’ program, which allows them to progress from green belt to black belt based on demonstrable knowledge and experience.”
