ARM sponsors video competition for the Tech Challenge 2015
ARM has partnered with the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, Calif., to sponsor a video competition for the Tech Challenge 2015. Open to students in grades 4-12, the competition requires participants to provide a visual record of their journey as they address real-world problems using engineering-design thinking.
The Tech Challenge is an annual two-day event, which aims to inspire future generations of Silicon Valley innovators. This year’s challenge is to build an earthquake-safe structure. Participants may record the brainstorming process, a breakthrough moment, or the project as a whole. The films will be judged on creativity, visual and audio appeal and storytelling. The top three videos will receive an award and be played during the event.
The competition will take place at the Tech Museum, 201 South Market Street, San Jose, Calif., 95113. Grades 4-6 and 9-12 will be judged on 25th April, and grades 7-8 will be judged on 26th April.
