The growth of international sales is fundamental to the future success of Amplicon. Many of the cutting edge designs and applications are first conceived in the International department before becoming standard offerings throughout the Amplicon Group.
The promotion and consolidation of this level of success has prompted Gina Citroni, the Amplicon CEO, to invest heavily in the international side of her business. ‘A degree of optimism and entrepreneurship is called for when success is being delivered despite the trading difficulties’ she commented. This attitude and vision has led to the creation of Amplicon International which will become a stand alone part of the business within the already successful Amplicon Group.
New offices, marketing resources and a planned expansion to the international sales team are the cornerstone to this new business venture. ‘We fully expect to see this new part of the Amplicon Group deliver profitable sales within its first full trading year; which will confirm my belief and investment in this part of my business’ added Citroni.
As an international business Amplicon have world-wide representation through a comprehensive network of distributors. To support a growing international presence Amplicon will be looking to appoint new distributors building on the already successful distribution channel and further leveraging the brand name of Amplicon. However, in these days of increasing globalisation Amplicon is proud of its history of manufacturing here in the UK and we will continue to support this ethos.
