Akros Silicon appoints VP of Worldwide Sales

Pete Klessel has been appointed to the role of Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Akros Silicon. Pete Klessel joins Akros to expand the company’s reach into high growth consumer and communications markets where manufacturers face stringent requirements for improved power and energy management in their systems.

Before joining Akros, Pete Klessel graduated with a B.S.E.E. from Villanova University and held various sales, FAE and engineering roles at American Microsystems, Cherry Semiconductor and RCA early in his career. After this he held progressively higher sales management roles at Integrated Circuit Systems, culminating in the appointment of VP Sales for North America prior to the company’s acquisition by Integrated Device Technology.

Following his departure from Integrated Circuit Systems, Krissel was Vice President of North America sales at Avago Technologies bringing innovative solutions to customer problems, resulting in $600m (USD) of annual revenue. After Avago and before joining Akros, Klessel was Senior Director of Sales at Monolithic Power Systems with responsibility for North America, Japan, Korea and the ASEAN region.
