ADATA Technology, one of the world leaders in DRAM modules and NAND Flash application products (including USB Flash Drives, Memory Cards, Solid State Drives and Portable Hard Drives), has opened its new European headquarters in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. In a conscious move to strengthen its worldwide positioning and to accelerate growth, ADATA hopes that this new office will help to bring it closer to its European customer base.
As a relatively young company, founded in 2001 by CEO and Chairman Simon Chen, ADATA has already experienced rapid growth, climbing to the number two spot worldwide for memory modules, and number four for NAND Flash application products.

Today, ADATA aims to become Europe’s leading vendor of both DRAM modules and NAND Flash application products. To achieve this goal, regional sales offices have also been set up to support the new European HQ. The Grand Opening ceremony, which will take place on Friday, 8th October in Eindhoven, will bring together ADATA’s President, IU Kim, with regional managers and key European customers.

IU Kim, President of ADATA Technology, comments: “We are extremely proud to be taking this step, which will no doubt be considered as a major milestone for ADATA’s development in Europe for years to come. This new set-up really confirms our position as a top 5 vendor.”

“Initially, we intend to increase our presence by developing our channel strategy to grow the number of distributors, retailers and e-tailers selling our brand. Furthermore, to stand out from our competitors, we aim to draw on the expertise of each country’s sales team to carefully tailor our offering to best meet local demand,” he concludes.
