GAO Fiber Optics is offering its dual channel bench-top optical power meter which conducts a broad range of measurements. This high precision optical power meter is specially designed for passive components.
The optical power meter, model 5307, operates at a wavelength range of 850 to 1700 nm and offers calibrated wavelengths of 850, 980, 1300, 1310, 1480, 1490, 1550 and 1625 nm. It features a self-calibration function and uses state-of-the-art data acquisition technology to ensure optimum signal-noise ratio. The meter monitors both channels’ power simultaneously. It uses a bare fiber tip to take power measurements with bare fiber and communicates through an RS232 interface for data exchange.
