A PCI Express protocol analyser with interchangeable interposers for probing has been unveiled by Teledyne LeCroy. The company says that it provides a solution for system implementers by providing powerful data capture and analysis. It also supports upgrade paths from low-cost base units to higher data rates.
Software Option Shifts EMI Testing Into Design Phase
A new software option from Rohde & Schwarz has been developed to allow engineers to optimise the EMI performance of their products as early as the design phase. Such a process should save time as the engineers work towards final EMI certification. The software option supports EMI bandwidths in compliance with commercial and military standards. The option contains EMI detectors such as peak, quasi peak, CISPR average and RMS average in line with CISPR and MIL standards.
Automated System Eases Multilane Bus Testing
An automated system for testing multilane digital bus interfaces has been inveiled by Agilent Technologies. The system works with the Infiniium series oscilloscopes. It covers all multilane bus interaces including HDMI, PCI-Express, MIPI, D-PHY and M-PHY. The solution includes switch matrix software options for Infiniium compliance applications and preconfigured switch matrix hardware models that work with the applications.
