Computrol Is Now AS9100C:2009 Certified

Computrol announces that it has received its registration for AS9100C:2009. To successfully achieve certification for AS9100C:2009, Computrol demonstrated its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements while maintaining a consistent level of quality throughout its operations.

“Our success in achieving this certification so quickly is due to two things: first, our robust quality management system (QMS) that allowed us to achieve the certification with only minor changes, and, second, our top management’s involvement in both QMS and quality certification. In short, this is yet another feather in our cap,” said Isam Ali, QA manager of Computrol.

The AS9100 standard includes the generic ISO 9001 elements as well as nearly 100 additional requirements specifically designed to address the stringent, complex and unique demands of the defense and commercial aerospace industry. Successful applicants must demonstrate to an objective third party that they have an effective QMS to consistently satisfy these unforgiving requirements. AS9100 certification often is a prerequisite to supplying the military/aerospace sector.
