Hall Effect Current Sensors from Raztec

News Release from: PEWATRON AG
01 September 2009

The current sensors from the series RAZC-2, RAZV-2 and RAZU-2 are ultra compact and cost-effective current sensors for PCB mounting, and are best suited for current measurements and current control in switch-mode power supplies, motor controllers, charge regulators and much more.

Hall Effect Current Sensors from RaztecMeasurement ranges from +/- 40mA to +/- 100A with accuracy down to 1% are available. With an operating temperature range from 40 up to 125 °C the hall effect current sensors from Raztec can be fi tted, without a problem, in industrial applications, where very high temperatures can sometimes be reached. Small means swift and that is the case here: The measurement current is measured with a spectrum of 35 KHz and the signal rise time accounts for 14 microseconds.

Thanks to the pre-mounted foam fi lm the hall effect current sensors from the series RAZC-2, RAZV-2 and RAZU-2 can be easily mounted onto the printed circuit board and only occupy a small area of the surface of the board. The RAZC-2 has an external diameter of exactly 10.6 mm.
