(NYSE: VSH) today announced that it has added a new streaming video to its Web site (http://www.vishay.com) highlighting Power Metal Strip® shunt resistors.

Vishay Introduces Streaming Video Highlighting Vishay Dale Resistor Technologies on Web Site The new video explores the advantages of Vishay's Power Metal Strip shunt resistors in automotive and industrial applications, such as brushless DC motors in electronic power steering and electric vehicle traction drives, automotive lithium-ion batteries, and utility power meters.

The devices' industry-leading specifications include very low resistance values down to 20 microohms, low temperature coefficient of resistance of 200 ppm/°C, and low thermal EMF of 0.3 µV/°C.

In addition to standard case sizes, Vishay Dale offers non-standard product sizes and terminal configurations to support designers involved in emerging applications.
