Miniature aluminium electrolytics from NIC Components

NIC Components has introduced a family of high performance miniature aluminium electrolytic capacitors. The NRB-XS series combines small form factors with extended load life and high ripple currents at high temperatures making them ideal for use in lighting ballast applications.
The polarized, radial leaded NRB-XS series is available with capacitance values ranging from 1.0µF to 220µF and rated voltages of 160VDC to 450VDC. It has an operating temperature range between -25ºC to +105ºC with exceptionally high ripple current ratings achieved at the maximum temperature value.
Case sizes range from 8mm diameter x 11.5mm to 18mm diameter x 25mm. Load life performance spans 8,000 hours for smaller case sizes and up to 10,000 hours for devices with diameters of 12.5mm and over.
The NRB-XS series is fully RoHS compliant and is supplied in tape and reel packaging ready for use with automated assembly processes.
