Offering male and female connections, the FFVE/ FFVI medium power film capacitors from AVX offer inductance levels as low as 18nH. With a capacitance range between 12 and 400µF, devices offer significantly improved current handling capacities and lifetime expectancy than leading competition.

With a rated DC voltage between 300 and 1900V, the devices withstand high levels of surge voltage and high rms current ratings. The series uses a non-impregnated metallised polypropylene or polyester dielectric, which features a controlled self-healing process specially treated for a very high dielectric strength in operating conditions up to 105degC.

FFV capacitors are specifically designed for DC filtering, low reactive power. FFVE performance sets the device as an effective alternative to electrolytic technology.
