Low-profile resistors available in six standard sizes

Specifically designed and developed to absorb more energy than standard film resistors, the new TFS Series from Ohmite is said to be ideal for medical surge protection applications and for the replacement of standard carbon composition resistors.

The low profile package has a thick film resistive element encapsulated in screen printed glass and is available in six standard sizes. The axial leaded devices cover a range from 0.5 watts to 2W, with energy ratings from 6 to 55 joules for a single impulse.

Operating voltages range from 3kV to 11kV, with a resistance range from 100 ohms to 100 Kohms, down to 1% tolerance, with a TCR of 100ppm/deg C. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +200°C

Non inductive and RoHS compliant, the TFS Series can be supplied with custom dimensions, values, tolerances and characteristics.
