Lead-free tantalums in “R” case size with height options of 1.2, 1.5 and 2.0mm

AVX has introduced a low-profile TAJ lead-free "R" (0805) case size tantalum capacitor. Achieving high capacitance values, the device allows design engineers to reduce the size of their systems by downsizing components, or by reducing the amount of components needed in a circuit.

TAJ “R” offers low profile height options of 1.2, 1.5 and 2.0 mm with capacitance values ranging from 0.1 to 22µF. Capacitance tolerance is +/-10 to +/-20% and operating temperature ranges from -50 to +125degC. Rated voltages are 2.5 to 35V.

Designed for reduced board-level height-constrained applications, the parts are suitable for computer power supplies, disk drives, cellular phones and PCMCIA cards.
