KEMET announces major expansion to ceramic through-hole portfolio

KEMET has announced a major expansion in its through-hole ceramic capacitor product portfolio. New capacitance and voltage values have been added in virtually every available case size of the company's axial (Aximax) and radial (Goldmax) conformally coated product lines in X7R dielectric.

The product line extensions meet the growing customer demand for higher capacitance values in through-hole technology. Radial through-hole components (C3xx series) are now available with capacitance values up to 10µF, while axial through-hole components (C4xx series) are now available in capacitances up to 4.7µF. In addition, both technologies can now be supplied with either 25V or 250V ratings for all case sizes.

With an operating temperature range between -55°C and +125°C, and with capacitance shift limited to ±15 percent over that range, KEMET’s X7R devices provide an excellent choice for electrical applications, general purpose applications and power supply circuits. In addition, all parts are fully compliant with RoHS legislation.
