News Release from: Distributed Micro Technology Ltd
13 May 2011

A new series of high precision metal film resistors has been announced by DMTL, the leading supplier of passive components from many of the industry's leading manufacturers. Produced by Viking Tech for whom DMTL is a franchised distributor, MFD Series resistors are designed specifically for high precision equipment and test and measurement systems as well as other applications where resistors with tight tolerances, low TCR and excellent stability are required.

High Precision Metal Film Leaded Resistors from DMTL Feature Very Tight Tolerance And Excellent StabilityKey features of the MFD Series include very tight tolerances down to ± 0.02% and extremely low TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) down to ±5 ppm/ºC. Devices are available with resistance values from 10Ω to 1MΩ and operating temperature range is -55 to + 125ºC.
Two types are available with power ratings of 0.25W or 0.5W and three tolerance levels: ± 0.02%, ± 0.05% and ± 0.1%.
