Arcol resistors meet the demands of high voltage power

Rapid can supply an extensive range of carbon composition and aluminium clad wirewound resistors - products designed to meet the demands of high voltage power in automotive, medical and lighting applications.

Leading the range is Arcol's new RCC series of carbon composition resistors, providing very high pulse capability and low inductance. Available in 0.25 W and 0.5 W power dissipations, the RCC is a solid axial lead carbon slug resistor offering resistance values between 2.2 and 910k W. They may be small but their carbon composition ensures a powerful performance. A 1K, 0.25 W resistor only 6.4mm long will absorb a 12KV pulse with a minimal change in delta R.

Arcol's aluminium clad resistors are designed for applications requiring high power dissipation in a limited space. Available in 10W, 25W, 50W, 100W, 200W and 300W versions, these wirewound products deliver maximum results across a huge range of resistances.
