AVX has introduced a 47µF capacitor with a 10V rating in 0805 footprint and P case size. This expands its TLJ range of capacitors which offers a high capacitance versus voltage ratio based on stable MnO2 electrodes.

Complying with RoHS requirements, the TLJ series is ready for 3x reflow, 260degC peak temperature lead-free assembly systems, with an operating temperature range between -55degC and +125degC.

The devices, manufactured from tantalum for high reliability and clear filtering, are suitable for 4.5-5.5V battery-operated handheld equipment such as mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and digital cameras in highly miniaturised applications.
