Ultra-Flat Tact switch has profile of 1.5mm

The new TSS 17-1 series from knitter-switch features a very low profile of just 1.5mm and a body size of 5 x 5mm, making it suitable for applications where space is at a premium. These include portable consumer products such as MP3 players and remote controllers.

Incorporating ground terminals and available with two terminal options (Gullwings and J-wings), the TSS 17-1 complies with the RoHS directive and is totally leadfree solderable to 255ºC ± 5ºC. It features a contact rating of 12VDC @ 50mA, a maximum contact resistance of 100mO and a dielectric strength rating of 250VAC for one minute. High reliability and long-life – 1 million cycles – are key features. Three operating forces – 1, 1.6 and 2.6N - are available.

This makes the switch also ideal for applications in professional coffee machines or portable vacuum cleaners. knitter-switch TSS 17-1 switches are available from stock and from a number of distributors throughout Europe. Samples are usually available on next day delivery.
