The MMP 1010-1 Series will interest designers looking for a high quality, high reliability replacement for other manufacturers' products including EAO/Secme's 1K2 switches. Produced knitter-switch, this new series of microminiature slide switches will find wide applications in market areas such as industrial control and automation, telecommunication products and medical systems.

The new slide switch provides the user with the functionality of a toggle switch - featuring a very stable construction and a precise switch operation with a maximum operating force of 8N.

Two mounting options, PCB mount or right-angle PCB mount, are available for switches in the MMP 1010-1 Series and these RoHS compliant devices are lead-free solderable at 270ºC for 5sec. The switches have a long mechanical life of up to 10000 cycles, contact ratings of 12V (AC or DC) @ 0.5A or 24V AC or DC) @ 0.3A and a wide operating temperature range of –25 to +85ºC.
