Dailywell 6M Series Miniature Slide Switch available via Live Electronics

Live Electronics releases the 6M series of new lightweight and compact slide switches from Dailywell. RoHS compliant and suitable for lead-free soldering, the 6M series offers side or top slide action, four pin configurations, single or double pole switching with or without centre-off, and silver or gold plated pin options.

The space saving design makes the 6M suitable for a wide range of applications from hand-held instrumentation to a variety of portable devices in test and measurement and consumer products.

Technical features include: flush or raised actuation; initial contact resistance of 50 mΩ max; mechanical life of 20,000 cycles; insulation resistance 1,000MΩ minimum, dielectric breakdown strength of 1000Vrms@sea level; and an operating temperature range of -40degC to +80degC. Minimum load and breaking capacity is dependent on which of the six contact material combinations is selected. The 6M data sheet details process requirements for lead-free soldering using manual, wave and vapour-phase techniques.
