Customised Versions of Thermal Switch Configuations

Inertial Aerosystems has announced the availability of customised configurations of an established range of Thermal switches. These are primarily the 100 non hermetic, the 200 and 500 Mil series and the space qualified 700 series hermetically sealed thermostats, all manufactured by Honeywell in Redmond USA. A range of special train locomotive switches are also available.

Products can now be manufactured to meet specific custom requirements, including severe or special environments, high or low current applications, specific temperature ranges and/or non-standard differential and setpoint tolerances.

Special features include terminal configurations, plating, overmoulds, leadwires and high pressure housings. Temperature ranges are -62 to 371 degrees C with custom setpoint tolerances + or - 1 degree C. The devices are hermetically sealed with an all welded construction, and are high vibration and shock resistant. Also single throw SPST and DPST models are included. Another important feature is the ability to cater for unusual outlines and mounting configurations. Special testing to Mil or space standards is available.
