Come and visit MAZeT at Booth 142 in Hall B1. We look forward to talking to you. MAZeT Supports Education at the College and University in Jena. MAZeT Promotes Students with Two Scholarships in Germany. The performance and reputation of MAZeT as development and production service provider for embedded computing solutions and opto-ASIC designs are based on well-educated and motivated employees. Consequently, acquiring next-generation staff and training employees is considered extremely important in the corporate culture at MAZeT.
The creation of a foundation professor for opto-ASIC and mixed signal design by MAZeT GmbH in collaboration with the Ernst Abbe Foundation Jena at Jena College in 2008 was an important step on the way to being able to educate skilled personnel nearby. This initiative was taken another step further with the founding of the Institute for Integrated Systems at Jena College in January 2010.
At the present time, a qualification project is being run in which MAZeT employees are teaching new design and test methods to those in the institute. In order to promote students in Engineering and Physics, MAZeT is providing one German scholarship (http://www.deutschland-stipendium.de) at Jena College and will also do so at Jena University and at Ilmenau Technical University.
MAZeT recently declared its willingness to participate in supporting a science foundation professorship at Jena University. MAZeT is actively involved in the association Friends and Sponsors of Jena University and in the promotion association for Jena College.
Dr. Wolfgang Hecker, Managing Director at MAZeT GmbH: A human resources policy oriented on the future is the basis for an innovative development and production service provider such as MAZeT. Our experience from the 20 years of our company's history shows that investments in employee training yield the highest returns.
