The conclusion of Productronica 2011 witnessed JUKI Europe finish the most successful fair in the 30 year history of the company. In particular, the revolutionary new Sentry system was met with extensive approval, as was the preview of a new trendsetting system shown in the "Secret Room". After the conclusion of the fair days on Wednesday and Thursday, an impressive display of fireworks illuminated the night sky and delighted thousands of spectators.
At this year’s Productronica, JUKI has not only confidently proven to be one of the worldwide leading suppliers of pick and place systems, but has also excelled as a leading partner in the development of revolutionary customer solutions, groundbreaking technologies and concepts in the classical pick and place industry and beyond. Great interest was generated by the Sentry system, the first zero-defect concept for SMT. It monitors the complete process in real time and in doing so, offers extensive cost reductions. Also at Productronica, the Sentry system won the coveted award for best “High Volume” product 2011 in the SMT industry.
A glance into the “Secret Room” was also very much in demand too. Here, selected visitors had the chance to see a groundbreaking automated module which makes expensive manual placement of non-SMT components obsolete.
With six European and four world premieres, combined with very elaborate displays at the show, Productronica 2011 saw JUKI achieve a new record in visitor numbers. A live show with indoor fireworks effects, the likes of which had never been seen at Productronica before, was the highlight in Hall A3. It not only attracted companies from the entire pick and place industries but also a remarkable number of press representatives and a considerable number of curious competitors. In addition to a record number of leads, JUKI also received numerous order commitments and could finalize completion of some very interesting projects during the fair.
