Designed for rapid masking of electronic components and assemblies, the new Ultra-Light Weld 9-20479-B from Intertronics provides protection from reflow or wave soldering processes and shields no-go areas during conformal coating application. This easily dispensed mask enables accurate placement and cures in seconds to maximize production throughput with the highest levels of quality.

The 9-20479-B is a blue, peelable masking material from Intertronics sales partner DYMAX which cures in seconds when exposed to UV/Visible light. It is extremely thixotropic and is ideal for manual or automated dispensing on boards or components that may be difficult to mask with other methods.

Material composition features no solvent, silicone or VOCs, while its performance ensures that cured masks withstand wave solder and reflow temperatures and are easily removed, eliminating the concern of ionic contamination or silicone left behind by other masking methods.
