Having announced a full line up of Rechargeable Lithium Cells, Powersolve has now introduced an intelligent battery charger that can charge both Li-Ion and Li-Polymer cells. The microprocessor controlled PSCH30LI Smart Charger provides constant current/constant current charging with an automatic cut-off capability when the batteries are fully charged.

The 30W PSCH15LI features a universal AC input and incorporates an IEC320 C14 3 pin AC input connector. Powersolve can supply the charger with various DC output connectors. Powersolve has single output versions from 12.6V to 29.4V as well as switch selectable “smart” versions. Charging current is from 0.5A to 2A.
Overvoltage and short circuit protection are standard features as is protection against reverse polarity while LED status indicators confirm standby, charging and fully charged states.
Housed in a compact desk top plastic enclosure measuring 120 x 60 x 38mm, the PSCH30LI has an operating temperature range of 0 to 40°C. It also complies with all relevant international safety standards as well as EMC compliance to EN55022 ’B’, CISPR 22 ‘B’ and FCC Part 15 ’B’.
