Practical Components Strengthens Sales Department with New Manager

Practical Components announces the promotion of Russell Kido to Sales Manager. Russell has been at Practical Components since October 2005 in the role of sales representative. Over the past seven years, he has proven his skills time and again by providing outstanding technical and engineering support to customers. His promotion is effective immediately.

“I am honored to accept the promotion to Sales Manager,” said Russell. “Working with Practical Components and its customer base has given me the opportunity to learn about the important role that dummy components play in our industry. As the Sales Manager, I look forward to sharing this knowledge and to meeting future challenges that will help the company remain at the top of its field.”

In his new position, Russell’s duties include managing Practical Components’ worldwide sales network. Additionally, he is responsible for the company’s sales and marketing strategy and assists customers with refining the introduction of emerging packaging technologies. Another important aspect of his position includes training and presenting new products to major customers.

“Russell has been a valuable team member for many years and his dedication and enthusiasm are noteworthy. Additionally, his knowledge and experience will help the company accelerate growth and maximize capabilities,” added Kevin Laphen, Practical Components’ president.
