Ploughcroft appoints new regional managers

Ploughcroft has strengthened its team with the appointment of Paul Eastwood and Clive Phillips as regional managers for the successful and expanding solar division.
As the demand for solar and renewable energy continues to rise, Ploughcroft’s MD, Chris Hopkins, is determined to drive the business forward by setting up offices in the south east and south west of England.
Paul will be looking after the southwest areas of Devon, Cornwall and Exeter, and Clive will be responsible for the southeast areas of Oxford, Cambridge, Bedford, Essex and Hertfordshire. Between them, the new regional managers have over 40 years experience in the renewables market, with both holding previous job titles of energy assessors.
Chris said: “I am delighted to welcome such experience regional managers to the Ploughcroft team at what is a very exciting time for the company and the renewable energy sector. The demand for solar and renewable energy continues to rise and I am determined to drive the business forward and develop the Ploughcroft offering.”
Over the next 12 months, Ploughcroft will continue to expand its solar installation service and solar training offering, as well as working to educate consumers about the financial return that solar energy can bring.
To underpin their growth, Ploughcroft has opened new training centres in Edinburgh, Ashton, Ipswich and Bognor Regis. With the Stoke training centre, and the Huddersfield head office training centre and Eco Roof Visitor Centre, Ploughcroft can now offer training throughout the UK.
Chris added: “”Our growth is a consequence of the overall market expansion and Ploughcroft’s strong position within it. We intend to open additional offices for our solar division throughout the UK, building on our strong reputation”.
