Phyworks appoints VP Engineering

Phyworks has promoted Stuart Millard to the role of Vice President of Engineering. Millard was previously Technical Director of IC Development and has worked with the Bristol-based data and telecom chip company since its foundation in 2001.

With more than 17 years experience of IC design, Millard has been involved in the development of the complete range of Phyworks’ market leading products, comprising retimers, transimpedance amplifiers and laser drivers.

A graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, Millard holds a number of patents for his work in analog and mixed signal design. He has previously worked with Plessey Semiconductors and Microcosm Communications.
