Luso Electronics Distribution Appoints Andy Eden as Sales Manager

Luso Electronics Distribution has announced the appointment of Andy Eden as sales manager. Eden, who has 17 years experience in electronic distribution, will fill a key role in Luso's distribution operation managing customer sales and support activities.

Eden joins Luso from Arrow Electronics, where he was an asset manager, following the acquisition in late 2010 of Coventry-based distributor Nu Horizons. Prior to that Eden worked as European Purchasing Manager for Nu Horizons, which itself acquired DT Electronics in 2006, where Eden had a number of roles from 1994, including product marketing, business development, purchasing, and stores management.

Luso Electronics Distribution was established in May 2011 as a division within Luso Electronics. Since then, the company has announced three franchise agreements: an exclusive UK and Ireland agreement to distribute SynQor’s DC/DC and AC/DC power supplies; a European distribution agreement with Elec & Eltek for magnetic components, including transformers, noise filters and common-mode chokes; and UK and Ireland agreement with N2Power to distribute its range of ultra-small high-efficiency AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies.
