Lapp appoints Bacon as Bus Development Manager

Lapp Ltd, the leading cable solutions provider, has appointed a business development manager for the UK. He is Chris Bacon, who brings to Lapp a wealth of experience following a career spanning more than 13 years in the cables industry.
In his new role, his principal focus will be to identify and develop cable solution sales throughout the UK while working closely with Lapp’s UK sales team.
Matt Ansell, Marketing Manager for Lapp Group Ltd. comments, “While our direct and distribution sales of cables and connectors are very healthy we see real growth for the future in turnkey projects. We are investing in vertical market sales and Chris has been brought on board to determine the most suitable projects for full connectivity solutions. We are now much more than a component supplier and can offer custom cables and connectors, cable harness manufacture, cable trays and on-site logistics.”
During his 13-year career in cables, Chris has worked in cable design, operations and technical sales giving him a complete knowledge of the industry.
