Cadence Appoints Alexander Duesener as Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa

Cadence Design Systems, has appointed Alexander Duesener as vice president of EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). In this role, Duesener will head the Cadence EMEA Field Operations, which includes sales, technical and customer support, and services. He will be based in Munich, Germany.

After serving various roles in the Cadence corporate headquarters, Duesener served as group director responsible initially for field marketing and then for sales for geography accounts in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions for Cadence. During his tenure at Cadence, he has built a strong track record of leadership and business development skills.

Duesener joined Cadence in 2005 from Intel. He received his bachelor’s degree (with honors) from Oxford Brookes and Regensburg University.
