International distributor ECOMAL based in Berkshire, UK announced a further variation of a smallest SMD multi-turns trimmer to its program of Nidec Copal Electronics. The latest model SM-31, is 5 turns smallest SMD trimmer in addition to the existing SM-3, 11 turns and is RoHS compliant and lead-free soldering compatible. Measuring only at 3.9 x 3.9 x 3.2 mm, SM-31 is ideal for applications that have space constraint but requires precise adjustment.

The resistance range is from 50 Ohm to 2MOhm with a tolerance of ±20%. The trimmer is available in top and side adjustment style with J-hook and gull wing terminal pins.
