A new ultra fast, rugged, high quality thermal printer introduced by Trident provides an ideal solution for integrating into a wide range of kiosks and self-service ticketing machines. The Custom Engineering KPM300H thermal printer from Trident has an integrated option of barcode scanner and an RFID reader/writer, making it suitable for all ticketing applications where user identification and access control are required. An ultra high speed of 250mm/second and long cutter life reduces the maintenance cycle and provides durable ticket printing in demanding environments including banking, parking, ticketing, petrol pumps and pay terminals.

A 266MHz ARM processor allows fast processing capabilities and a 64 MB MultiMediaCard is available for logo, font and data storage expansion. The KPM300H printer has an enhanced quality head of 203dpi and a life of 100 Km / 100M pulses. The paper width is adjustable from 54 to 82.5mm, with a paper thickness between 70 and 255g/m2.

A power supply of 24 Vdc ± 10% (optional external power supply) is required with a low power consumption of 2.5A. Dimensions are 191x123(H)x160 mm and the weight is just 3.5kg. Available interfaces are Serial/USB and Ethernet.

Other optional extras include a CCD Barcode Scanner for reading pre-printed modules, a RFID reader/writer compatible with mifare or icode, larger paper roll holder and a fan-fold paper holder.
