Extension of Frame design case

News Release from: Fischer Elektronik
03 May 2012

The wide variety of cases offered by Fischer Elektronik has now been extended to include four new versions of Frame design case. These multi-purpose tube cases made from aluminium have integral guide slots and serve to accommodate non-standard PCBs or components.

Extension of Frame design caseThe shock-proof plastic covers as well as the integral slip-resistant feet mean the user can opt to use the design case as a desktop case or as a handheld case.

Thanks to the special geometry of the aluminium tube profile, the case can have either foil key pads or front foils. In the standard version, the case is available in seven lengths (50 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, 160 mm, 200 mm and 220 mm) and with three different surface designs.

An EMC-compliant design can be achieved by using electrically conductive surfaces. On request, the aluminium tube profile as well as the covers can be machined, surface-treated, and imprinted. In addition to the standard colour (which is similar to RAL 1007), the plastic covers are available in many other RAL colours.

The Frame design case comes as a disassembled kit, including covers and mounting material. If you have any enquiries or would like further details, please contact the Fischer Elektronik product specialists.
