Rapid Electronics now displaying Winstar LCD and OLED signage devices

Rapid Electronics has introduced a new range of LCD and OLED standard character modules from leading manufacturer Winstar, for use in commercial and industrial signage and information display.
The products include alphanumeric and graphic LCD modules, with display configurations including 8 x 2 (two lines each containing a maximum of 8 characters), 16 X 2, 20 x 4 and 40 x 4. With a range of dimensions, dot sizes and character sizes, the modules all feature reflective backlighting, transmissive or transflective LED backlighting.
All Winstar devices provide a superior viewing angle and improved brightness over conventional LCD displays, with high contrast levels, low power consumption and fast response time. Display colours include yellow/green and negative blue with full LED reflective backlights. Operating temperatures range from –20°C to +70°C.
