LSC-035 – Operation of Blue, Red, and NIR Laser Diodes

The inexpensive LSC-035 driver was developed for N type cw laser diodes with a maximum operating current of 300mA. The wide-ranging supply voltage of up to 15V allows the operation of blue, red, and NIR laser diodes. A protective circuit shields the laser diodes from damage resulting from ESD, high temperatures, and current peaks. It safely filters out the transient characteristics of the supply voltage.
In case of a malfunction the circuit instantly inhibits the supply. Only by reconnecting the voltage will the circuit operate, providing time to fault diagnose reducing possible damage.
The stabilised output power remains constant with an excellent 1.5% accuracy.
