GlacialTech Inc., announced the GL-BL110 LED Retail and Industrial Light, the first product in its revolutionary new Arcturus GL-Baylight Series. This high efficiency 433.7mm (17-inch) 110W bay light is a simple replacement for older, less-efficient light sources. The GL-BL110 floods indoor spaces with bright natural light, but comes with astoundingly low energy and maintenance costs. This light source is perfect for high bay and low bay retail and industrial indoor lighting use - in fact, it's an obvious choice for any site that wants lower bills, and happier customers and staff. The GL-BL110's wide angle 30°/60° beam provides bright natural daylight 6000K illumination (GL-BL-110CW) with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of over 75. From a height of 5 meters, the light brings maximum illuminance of over 364 lux to an area a full 5.43 meters wide. This light source accepts a wide range of indoor power sources, from AC 100 volts to 277 volts and operates in temperatures from -20°C up to 40°C, making it a great fit for even the most challenging global environments.
Saving money for customers was GlacialLight's top priority during the design process for this product. Its long-lived LEDs slash maintenance costs, with an average lifetime at least 10 times beyond that of traditional halogen lamps. The product's LEDs are also more energy efficient than halogen and other artificial light sources, achieving power savings of up to 70 percent. The GL-BL110 typically offers a power efficiency of greater than 85 percent and luminous efficiency of at least 68.2 lumens per watt, meaning reduced power consumption and far less waste heat. As a result, every unit's cool-running light helps keep indoor temperatures under control, adding up to massive savings on air conditioning and cooling costs compared with traditional lighting technologies.
