Expansion at CMS specialist NuStart Electronics adds to production capability

Leading contract manufacturing services (CMS) specialist NuStart Electronics has completed an expansion programme designed to increase production capability at its Newbury facility. According to Managing Director Mike Smith, NuStart is now even better equipped to work with today's increasingly complex boards and sub-assemblies.

“We have also added extra resource in our component procurement and purchasing areas which allows us to reduce the time it takes to track down hard to find components” says Mike Smith “And this is particularly important at the moment as some key parts can be on lengthy lead times unless you know where to look” he adds.

NuStart Electronics offers a full range of contract manufacturing services supporting practically every type of board or assembly from the smallest PCBs to full box or cabinet build.

NuStart is geared to offer both precision hand assembly and hand soldering as well as fully automated assembly at industry standard component placement rates. NuStart offers reflow or wave soldering depending on the application and every board or assembly that leaves the production facility is fully tested.
