Continental Award Molex as 2011 Supplier of the Year

Molex has today proudly revealed that it has won a 2011 Supplier of the Year Award from Continental in the Plastic-Mechatronics & Connectors category. The award for Molex was presented by the Head of Global Cluster Management Electromechanics, Mr Epe during Continental's recent supplier day in Berlin, which was attended by 116 of its strategic suppliers.

Commenting on the award Klaus Steinheimer, Molex global account manager for Continental, said: “We are proud to be recognised by Continental, one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers. This award reflects our high-levels of quality, delivery and service to the automotive industry.”

Molex was selected following analysis by Continental of the services provided by its most important suppliers, with key factors for selection including quality, technology, logistics, costs and purchasing conditions. Molex won the award in the Plastic-Mechatronics & Connectors category, which reflects the company’s outstanding quality performance and improvements, best in class logistics performance and overall best in class support.
