Murata Announce 39 nH Inductor Value In 01005 Package
Murata announce what is believed to be the largest inductor value available within a standard ultra-miniature 01005 (EIA) package size measuring 0.4 x 0.2 x 0.2 mm. With an inductance value of 39 nH, the LQP02TN39 comprises the highest value in a series of 59 items with 0.2 nH being the lowest value available. Tolerance from the nominal inductance value is within +/- 0.1 nH for inductors up to 4.2 nH and within +/- 3% for all values above.
Murata Realizes The World's Largest Inductance Value In An Ultra-Miniature 0402 size
Murata Manufacturing has recently developed a film-type high-frequency chip inductor that has the world's largest inductance value of 39 nH. Including this inductor, we have added four items to the lineup of our LQP02TN series, and commenced mass production in April 2013.

Low-loss, High-saturation, Round-wire Coil SMT Power Inductors
Pulse Electronics expands its range of round-wire coil surface mount power inductors to deliver higher inductance/current capability. Mechanical sizes from 7.6 x 7.4 x 6.4mm up to 21.7 x 21.5 x 12.5mm are now available with an inductance range from 0.3uH to 50uH and with a current rating up to 70A. These inductors use a ferrite core material which yields a 90% core loss reduction and 30% increase in maximum operating temperature when compared to standard iron powder material used in flat-coil inductors.

Murata's 270 nH 0603 (EIA 0201) size chip inductor
Murata today announced what is believed to be the world's first 270 nH chip inductor available in a 0603 (EIA 0201) sized package measuring 0.6 x 0.3 x 0.3 mm. Extending the LQP series line-up of ultra compact high frequency inductors that previously were available from 0.6 to 120 nH, the LQP03TN-02 series now adds inductance values from 150 to 270 nH.

Murata announces world’s first chip common mode choke coils
Murata today announced the mass production of the world's first SATA Gen 2 / Gen 3 compatible common mode choke coils. Available in ultra compact 0806 and 0605 sizes, the DLP series are designed for use in Serial Advanced Technology Attachment-based high-speed differential interfaces that are commonly used for high-speed mass storage hard disk drives found in computers, video recording equipment and solid state drives.

Almag have introduced their Type WK Hi-Frequency range of toroidal storage, PFC and differential suppression chokes, with types going up to 60 amps rating. AVX Corporation has expanded its line of thin film, multi-layer organic (MLO), and broadband wire-wound conical inductors to include a new series of shielded and non-shielded SMD power inductors. Designated the Lmax series, these inductors feature a wide inductance range, low DC resistance, and the high current values necessary for industrial applications.
Miniature shielded power inductors handle as much current as larger coils
The new PFL4514 Series Shielded Power Inductors from Coilcraft allow circuit designers to increase board density without sacrificing efficiency. These wirewound surface-mount inductors require a mere 16 mm˛ of board space and are just 1.4 mm high. Current handling of up to 4.2 Amps compares to much larger inductors. Magnetic shielding provides more design flexibility by permitting tighter component spacing without electromagnetic interference.
New dual winding inductors for high current applications
TT electronics BI Technologies has extended its HM78D family of dual winding inductors with the introduction of a new model series offering higher inductance, better efficiency and superior current handling in a rugged, low cost part. The new HM78D-1210 series comes in 12.5mm footprint shielded SMD packages and, in common with other HM78D models, can be configured as inductors, common mode chokes or DC/DC converters.

Almag have released data covering their latest HVCM and HVSM ranges of common-mode and differential-mode EMC chokes. These chokes are board-compatible with widely used catalogue types, but use higher performance cores to offer about twice the inductance.
