Semtech has revealed that it will be participating in the Optical Internetworking Forum demonstration of the CEI-28G-VSR Implementation Agreement at ECOC 2012 in Amsterdam. One of the OIF demonstrations will feature Semtech and TE Connectivity showcasing an active copper cable application leveraging the QSFP-28Gb/s form factor operating at 25.78 Gb/s.
