“Get the total Coverage” at Electronica 2008

Global test and measurement expert, GOEPEL electronic, will showcase products at the 2008 Electronica trade in Munich, Germany focused on achieving the highest test coverage throughput the product life cycle. Comprehensive test solutions in the JTAG/Boundary Scan, AOI and Automotive test will be demonstrated at Booth A1.542 and A6.A51 from November 11th to 14th. These "Get the total Coverage" solutions are targeted for development, production and service engineers.

Introducing new products and product enhancements for JTAG/Boundary Scan hardware platform SCANFLEX®, GOEPEL electronic demonstrates its solutions are unrivalled in terms of flexibility, modularity and performance. In particular, VarioCore™, an award winning technology enabling flexible configuration of I/O modules, along with VarioTAP®, the first real fusion of JTAG emulation and Boundary Scan, will generate a lot of interest. With these seminal technologies, GOEPEL electronic sets a course as the leading JTAG/Boundary Scan innovator. Additionally, new solutions to integrate Boundary Scan into existing ATE systems will be introduced at Electronica. The latest version of the Integrated Development Environment SYSTEM CASCON ™ will demonstrate that the best hardware is supported by equally high-performance software.

Information about solder paste inspection and ceramic substrates will be available for interested parties.

The entire OptiCon AOI system family will be on exhibit, including the new high-end system, OptiCon TurboLine, with the latest image recording technology “Extended Optical Resolution“, capable of inspecting 01005 components, as well as, solder joints of 0.3mm pitch. Furthermore, the latest AOI software, OptiCon PILOT version, with new features, such as SPC (Statistic Process Control) module or reference database will be demonstrated.

Additionally, GOEPEL electronic will present extensive solutions for functional and Automotive Test. Highlighted during the show will be the next generation tester based on USB technology. It is a cost-effective, high performance customized functional test system for ECU’s, with no loss in technical capability or modularity. In addition, a new Diagnostic concept based on the hardware module smartCAR will be demonstrated. Also, a combination of electrical and optical test and inspection systems, the extended CAR Master Line product family for CAN, LIN and diagnostic, as well as a multitude of engineering solutions for the automotive industry will be exhibited at GOEPEL electronic’s stand A1.542.
