Cypress TrueTouch Touchscreen Solution Delivers Multi-Touch Gestures and Camera Focus Feature on New docomo PRIME series™ N-02B Mobile Phone
Cypress Semiconductor today announced that its TrueTouch™ touchscreen solution is employed in the new docomo PRIME series™ N-02B mobile phone from NEC. The N-02B offers a high-resolution, 12-megapixel camera that can be activated in less than one second. The TrueTouch solution enables users to focus the camera using the touchscreen for speed and convenience. The phone also uses the TrueTouch solution to deliver intuitive multitouch capability, allowing gestures such as tap, double-tap, pan, pinch, scroll, rotate and others.
Futuristic, interactive dining experience facilitated by Zytronic’s Projected Capacitive Technology (PCT™)-based touch sensors
A 22-inch version of Zytronic's durable touch sensor product, ZYBRID, has been chosen by advanced user interface specialist, Sunvision Technology, to create interactive dining tables which offer customers a new, entertaining dining experience at the exclusive Mojo restaurant in Taipei. Interactive functionality is enabled by embedding the ZYBRID touch sensors inside the restaurant's tabletops. The touchscreen operates in conjunction with a computer-controlled projector mounted over each table which presents interactive menus on to the surface.

Zytronic Brings Touch Functionality to Advantech Panel PCs

UMR Intelligent Displays from Anders Now Offer Custom Display Enhancements

Ceravision and Toshiba Electronics sign development and supply agreement to advance High Efficiency Plasma Technology

A new 3.5in TFT module with a high-reflectance ratio of more than 6% has been released by EPSON Imaging Devices. Due to this outstanding feature it is possible to dim or even switch off the LED-backlight at room lighting conditions. Hereby the power consumption of the display will be reduced significantly.
