Trident has unveiled two new versatile high brightness colour TFT LCD open frame kiosk displays from Planar. The LB1500R and LB1503R feature a superior brightness level of 550 cd/m squared and an excellent contrast ratio of 500:1, making them ideal for the retail and hospitality industries where bright attention grabbing displays help to attract and entice customers to view kiosk content.

The competitively priced LB15 series also offers options for integrating composite video for streaming video advertisements making it the perfect solution for digital signage, attracting attention from a distance, increasing visibility and ultimately reaching a wider audience. The composite video option also allows the support of live feeds from security cameras in retail stores or parking areas for example, giving the products added flexibility.

Other specifications include a wide viewing angle of 140 Degrees horizontal/120 Degrees vertical, a typical response time of 12ms (Tr + Tf ) and a resolution of 1024 x 768 which supports IBM VGA; VESA VGA, SVGA and XGA.
